Lottie Mac’s practice operates at the intersection of design, art and curatorial production, with a focus on how spatial, material and graphic systems shape experience, access and meaning. Rooted in long term research into mother tongue, landscape and cultural memory, she develops typographic structures, sculptural objects and domestic scale environments as designed responses to narrative and place.
Using tufted wool, wood, steel, paint and print, she creates both functional and expressive forms that test how design can be poetic while remaining usable, accessible and socially engaged. Alongside her studio work, Mac designs and delivers exhibitions, workshops and public programmes.
